Notice: Deprecated because of new Edison standards. They now use phone verification, although some devices might still use the old VPN authentication method.
Logging into VPN is essential when trying to access any SCE portal, whether it be SpidaMIN, SAP, or
EWorld.
1) Click Windows Start button and select RSA SecurID
2) Enter Pin 2828 and either hit enter or click the arrow button
3) Click the yellow lock in bottom right corner of taskbar and launch “CHECKPOINT”
4) Click “Connect” in CHECKPOINT pop-up, and this will pop up.
5) Username will always be “mendoze”, copy the passcode from RSASecurID
6) Paste the passcode from RSA SecurID into CHECKPOINT and click connect.
7) Progress bar will pop up and once connection is completed CHECKPOINT will now look like this:
Congratulations, you are now connected and can login to Edison portals.
